The power of AAU contributes to roughly 80% of the overall communication system power and is highly dependent on the communication volume .
Numerous studies have affirmed that the incorporation of distributed photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems (ESS) is an effective measure to reduce energy consumption from the utility grid.
The proposed evaluation method achieves a balance in LCC, initial investment, return on investment, and carbon emissions. From the perspective of LCC and carbon emissions, base stations with lower annual irradiance levels can install more PV.
