Justrite Oily Waste Cans (OWC) are manufactured of galvanized steel, a fire-resistant material as required by OSHA 1926.252 (e). The OWC's self-closing lid limits the inside of the OWC of the oxygen that is required to support combustion.

Are Justrite fire-rated lockers UL rated?
Justrite's fire-rated lockers come with self-closing, fire-rated doors which are UL Listed. In addition, they have fire damper protected air vents which are UL Listed. The doors and vents on 4-hour fire-rated lockers have a 3-hour rating, and the 2-hour lockers have a 1.5-hour rating.
