Road safety is a major concern although one may concede that in general, two wheelers are less safe on roads compared to three or four wheelers with 48,746 two-wheeler riders casualties, much higher than car/jeep/taxi users at 26,869 in India in 2017 (Mullen and Kwon, 2016).
