Free QuoteBase stations are important in the cellular communication as it facilitate seamless communication between mobile devices and the network communication. The demand for efficient data transmission are increased as we are advancing towards new technologies such as 5G and other data intensive applications.
For communication by one mobile terminal, one channel is used. A channel consists of two frequencies: one frequency for communication from the base station to the mobile terminal (called downlink) and one frequency for communication from the mobile terminal to the base station (called uplink).
The two communications systems we take as a baseline are the telephone system and the Internet. The two networks share physical links, but could scarcely be more different. The telephone system operates on the basis of fixed path connections set up as part of call initiation. It provides two-way voice communication of high quality.
The base station had a very powerful transmitter. The base station catered to an area of about 50 km radius. The mobile terminals, consisting of antenna, radio transmitter, receiver, and associated control circuitry, were car mounted. For communication by one mobile terminal, one channel is used.
The service area may be partitioned into connection regions surrounding each base station. The connection region of a base station is the geometrical region where the received signal power from that base station is larger than that from any other base station and high enough to meet the quality requirements.
It usually connects the device to other networks or devices through a dedicated high bandwidth wire of fiber optic connection. Base stations typically have a transceiver, capable of sending and receiving wireless signals; Otherwise if they only send the trailer it will be considered a transmitter or broadcast point only.
